probierz gate prepush

Evaluate the repository's pre-push merge gate, optionally running change-driven CI first.

Invocation#

probierz gate prepush

Required inputs and options#

  • `--repo` defaults to the current directory. Application, base, and head may be supplied explicitly.
  • `--ci` runs the affected CI contract before the gate decision.

Output and state effects#

Writes the pre-push result as JSON and sets exit code 1 when `ok` is false. It does not install the hook. A hook `gate install` wrote before this group existed still runs the hidden `gate-prepush` spelling; `gate install` in that repository rewrites it to `gate prepush`.

Exact refusals#

  • A non-passing or incomplete gate result refuses the push by returning `ok: false`.
  • Repository, source identity, CI, manifest, and evidence failures stay blocking; unavailable evidence is never treated as green.
